Clitocybe vibecina (Fr.) Quél. Mäusetrichterling Mealy Funnel Cap 1.5–5cm across, flattened-convex becoming depressed in the centre, light grey-brown with faintly striate margin when moist, drying cream. Stem 30–50 x 3–8mm, paler than the cap, covered in fine white down towards the base in young specimens. Flesh thin, whitish to buff. Taste and smell of meal. Gills decurrent, pale grey-brown. Spore print white. Spores ellipsoid, 5.5–7 x 3.5–4m. Habitat in coniferous or mixed woodland and heaths, often under bracken. Season autumn. Common. Said to be edible. (Never eat any mushroom until you are certain it is edible as many are poisonous and some are deadly poisonous.) Found In Europe.
